Learn how to protect yourself in an active shooter situation
An active shooter by definition is an individual actively engaged in killing or attempting to kill people in a confined and populated area. In most cases, there is no pattern or method to their selection of victims which makes the locations and times unpredictable. Active shooter situations evolve quickly. Typically, the immediate deployment of law enforcement is required to stop the shooting and reduce the amount of harm while securing potential victims.
Because active shooter situations are often over within 10 to 15 minutes–before law enforcement arrives on the scene–individuals must be prepared both mentally and physically to deal with an active shooter situation. 1st Response Safety will train your employees as to how to respond in an active shooter scenario. Our Instructors are experienced and trained professionals who will provide you with the best information available to prepare you to be ready in an active shooter situation.
